Mediation

Dovetail Resolutions, LLC provides mediation services to resolve conflicts, with a special focus on business and family wealth conflicts and on elder mediation. These conflicts may arise within partnerships or family-owned businesses, in the context of estate planning and settlement, and as generations struggle to make thoughtful and respectful decisions involving aging loved ones.

We can help you create a plan to minimize the frequency and intensity of conflict and to make a commitment to pursue mediation as a first step if conflict arises. We can also work with you at any stage of a conflict that has arisen, from the first signs of disagreement to the eve of trial in a litigated case or beyond.

We strive to use patience, persistence, and creativity to help parties to a dispute reach a resolution that best serves their interests.

Our services include a complimentary consultation and we can assist in explaining the mediation process and its benefits to those unfamiliar with this type of dispute resolution.

Consulting and Facilitating

Dovetail also works with individuals, families, and businesses to help them constructively address present or potential conflict through effective communication and sound planning.

Additionally, Dovetail facilitates Strategic Planning and related organizational planning for not-for-profits.

Mediation and consultation sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times and locations, including telephone conferences. We serve primarily New Haven, Fairfield, and Hartford Counties, in Connecticut, but arrangements can be made for other areas.

Fees

Professional services are billed at an hourly rate, including review of mediation submissions, mediation sessions, and necessary follow-up time.

Travel time to locations is charged at the hourly rate after the first hour. Any expenses incurred, such as room rental, are charged at actual cost.

Please note that Dovetail Resolutions, LLC is not a law firm. Ms. Beddall practices law exclusively with Delaney & Triplett, P.C.
