Mediators descend on New Orleans

The Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR)  held its annual conference in New Orleans earlier this month. Featured here are some of the dedicated staff members enjoying a light moment near the end of successful event.

The conference was both energizing and educational, a chance to compare notes with others. Some of the meetings covered how to lead our ACR chapters, allowing me to bring back to the New England chapter (NE-ACR) good ideas from around the country and to share our approach with other chapter leaders.

My favorite workshops covered elder mediation topics and practical strategies in family business disputes. Good presenters, experienced colleagues, and challenging scenarios provided food for thought.

And New Orleans provided good food of a different kind!
