“Ethical Issues in Mediation” CLE seminar on April 8

I was happy to agree to a request to put together a panel for a CLE seminar on mediation ethics, which may be of particular interest to attorneys in Connecticut who need New York State CLE credits (especially ethics credits.)  Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can provide more information.

The particulars:

On Tuesday, April 8, 2014, the New Haven County Bar Association will present a CLE seminar on “Ethical Issues in Mediation.”  The program will be a primer on ethical obligations of the advocate and mediator.

The panelists will be: Hon. Terence A. Zemetis, Waterbury District Superior Court; Helen Murphy, Esq., Murphy & Nugent, LLC; and Jane Beddall, Esq., Dovetail Resolutions, LLC.  The program runs from 4-6 p.m. in the Superior Court Courthouse, 235 Church Street, 9th floor, New Haven, CT 06511. The cost is $55 for NHCBA members and $85 for nonmembers (inquire about reduced rates for special categories.)

The New Haven County Bar Association has been certified by the New York State CLE Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the State of New York. This course is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.  For more information, visit the New County Bar Association at www.newhavenbar.org or call 203.562.9652.
